WE ARE
What began as a secret, underground performing arts space in the factory district of Coburg, VIC, has grown into the C.U.N.T.S - a roving, pop-up vaudeville bringing “oohs” and “aahhs” to festivals and events around Australia!
Comprised of a rag-tag group of comedians, singers, burlesque dancers, fire-twirlers, pupeteers, drag queens, and a good handfull of scallywags - each Citrus Union performance is one of a kind! Theres a good chance you might see something no-one has ever seen before, or will see again!
THE OLD TURK
Equal parts wizard and wise-ass, The Old Turk is one of those mystical creatures you meet once in a lifetime. Spouting street smarts and spiritual truisms in the same breath, riding around on an electric unicycle, and only coming out at night, he knows that the world is a playground! In the bowels of Coburgs unassuming industrial district, he took a factory and turned it into a wonderland - even creating a river with stepping stones you had to cross to gain entry.
Now, the Citrus Union is on the road, taking our brand of magic to festivals and other events all around Australia. We don't stay in one place for long - and if you say pretty please, we might come to YOU next!
